Text About It is a text-only crisis service funded by the HSE. A trained volunteer replies in writing, and the whole conversation is silent to use — nothing rings and nothing announces itself.
It exists for the very large group of people for whom a phone call is not usable: at work, in a shared house, autistic, Deaf, or simply unable to speak when distressed.
