Migrant Help
A free asylum helpline for people in the UK asylum process — support with the claim, accommodation and essentials.

Migrant Help runs a free helpline for people going through the UK asylum process, covering the practical side: the claim itself, accommodation, and the support payments people are entitled to while they wait.
It is not a mental-health service, and it is included here because the practical trap is usually what the distress is made of. Waiting years on a decision, with no right to work and no date to count towards, is a situation rather than a symptom, and the people who can move the situation are worth knowing about alongside a crisis line.

Is something here wrong?
A number that no longer works is the most serious thing that can go wrong on this site. If you have tried one of these and it did not connect, please tell us and we will check it the same day.
We are not affiliated with Migrant Help and we do not speak for them. This page describes their service as they publish it; their own site is always the authority.
