SOS Détresse
Anonymous, confidential listening by phone and online, open daily from late morning until late evening.
SOS Détresse is Luxembourg's telephone and online listening service, staffed by trained volunteers. Its own topic pages cover suicidal thoughts directly, alongside loneliness, bereavement and family difficulty.
It is not a round-the-clock line, which is worth knowing before you need it: the volunteers are there from late morning to late evening, and later on Friday and Saturday nights.

Is something here wrong?
A number that no longer works is the most serious thing that can go wrong on this site. If you have tried one of these and it did not connect, please tell us and we will check it the same day.
We are not affiliated with SOS Détresse and we do not speak for them. This page describes their service as they publish it; their own site is always the authority.
