Mind's Infoline is not a crisis line; it is the place to go when you need to understand the system. What a diagnosis means, what treatment you are entitled to, how to challenge a decision, what your rights are if you are detained.
That is a genuine gap in the crisis landscape. A great many people are not in immediate danger but are stuck — on a waiting list, refused a referral, or unclear what is supposed to happen next — and the advice they need is procedural rather than emotional.

Is something here wrong?
A number that no longer works is the most serious thing that can go wrong on this site. If you have tried one of these and it did not connect, please tell us and we will check it the same day.
We are not affiliated with Mind and we do not speak for them. This page describes their service as they publish it; their own site is always the authority.
