자살예방상담전화 109 — Suicide Prevention Counselling Line
South Korea's national suicide-prevention counselling line on 109, answered at any hour.
The line is run by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's counselling centre and answers calls about suicidal thoughts at any hour of the day.
It replaced several separate numbers in 2024, so older Korean listings may still print a number that no longer reaches this service.

Is something here wrong?
A number that no longer works is the most serious thing that can go wrong on this site. If you have tried one of these and it did not connect, please tell us and we will check it the same day.
We are not affiliated with 자살예방상담전화 109 — Suicide Prevention Counselling Line and we do not speak for them. This page describes their service as they publish it; their own site is always the authority.
