International Association for Suicide Prevention
The global professional body for suicide prevention, which maintains a country-by-country index of crisis centres.
IASP is the international body that brings together researchers, clinicians, crisis workers and people with lived experience. Its crisis centre index is maintained alongside its member organisations and is a useful cross-check when a national service has changed.
It is also the source of World Suicide Prevention Day on 10 September, and of much of the research this site draws on for its data section.

Is something here wrong?
A number that no longer works is the most serious thing that can go wrong on this site. If you have tried one of these and it did not connect, please tell us and we will check it the same day.
We are not affiliated with International Association for Suicide Prevention and we do not speak for them. This page describes their service as they publish it; their own site is always the authority.
