A Czech crisis line answered around the clock, at the cost of an ordinary call.
Modrá linka's Linka důvěry is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year — the line itself states 365 days, and a day more in a leap year. Calls are charged at your normal rate rather than being free, and they also offer a free internet call if that is easier.
The organisation is based in Brno, where it runs in-person counselling and keeps its office. Its phone line sets out no regional limit, so it reads as open to callers anywhere in the country — but that is the absence of a restriction rather than a claim to national coverage, and it is worth knowing the difference.
It complements Linka bezpečí 116 111, which is for children and young people.
