Tell us about an event

Support groups, memorials, awareness events, training. If it helps people affected by suicide, we would like to know about it.

How we check it

  • A person opens the link you give us and confirms it describes this event, with the same name and date. That is why the web address is required — it is the whole check.
  • We do not ring you. If everything matches, it simply goes up. If something does not add up, we email you rather than guessing.
  • We publish the town, never the venue. People contact you for the exact location. Most support groups prefer it that way, and it means a listing can never send somebody to a specific address.
  • Dated events drop off automatically once they have passed. Recurring listings are re-checked, and one that stops resolving stops being shown.

What we cannot list

  • Anything whose page describes a method — that rule has no exceptions here.
  • Anything primarily selling a service, recruiting, or preaching.
  • Private groups that do not want to be found. Please do not submit on their behalf.
  • Anything we cannot open a page for.

A couple of sentences. Who it is for, and what someone turning up for the first time should expect.

Required. This is how we check a listing is real before publishing it — we open the page and confirm it matches. Your own site, a charity page, or a listing elsewhere all work.

Where

Do not give us a street address. We publish the town only and never the venue — people contact you for that. It is how most support groups prefer it, and it means a listing can never send someone to a specific door.

Never published.

Your email is stored so we can come back to you with a question. It is never published and never used for anything else. See our privacy notice.
